French Bespoke Brass Chair by Atelier Victor Tison.
In his studio, Victor Tison explores the artistic possibilities of brass, a noble and expressive material. Trained as a sheet metal worker, he transposes traditional metalworking techniques into a contemporary approach, at the intersection of furniture, sculpture, and design.
His pieces are distinguished by their organic, fluid forms, inspired by movement, water, and textiles. Brass is hammered, bent, rolled, and sculpted with precision before being patiently polished to a brilliant mirror finish. Light reflects and diffuses across its surfaces, bringing a sensory and sculptural dimension to each creation. These works don't just inhabit space: they interact with it. Shadows, reflections, and light vibrations interact with their surroundings. Atelier Tison's pieces create a unique, refined, and immersive space.
In 2025, Victor Tison was awarded the prestigious prize Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d'Art, which reveals emerging talent in the arts and crafts.
Victor Tison asserts his place in the landscape of contemporary crafts. His work embodies French artisanal excellence and demonstrates how creating in brass can be a source of poetry, modernity, and light.
